Looks like the 20,000-pound wood-fired oven at the future Mud Club at 305 Main Street (next door to Royal Crepes) has been installed, and they are laying down a new floor. The Mud Club in Woodstock (same owner) does wood-fired bagels and sourdough pizza, so I expect we’ll be seeing the same in Beacon soon.

A few months ago there was a for sale sign in the window, but they’ve reconsidered.

I was passing by the old Joes Irish Pub at 455 Main in Beacon, now closed, and saw a man who I think is Joseph Condon, the owner of the building and the former dive bar. We chatted and he said that the Himalayan dumpling shop, Momos, now located in the Hudson Valley Food Court, will be moving in.

Il Barilotto in Fishkill was put up for sale in late June 2020, and is now closed.

Mamma Musetti's Italian Cafe closed its location on Main Street in Wappingers on February 26.
