Car-Free Sunday on Fifth Ave NYC
We should be doing this in Beacon on Main Street
@kduggan16 Was there today, was very nice. Sidewalks were packed even beyond the closed zones. The streets were alive, food and music.
@kduggan16 @DrGetOffYourAss Fantastic! The car-free zone in SF's Golden Gate Park created during the pandemic was so popular that it is now permanent.
I hope the City Council is taking notes.
I fully support this idea! It doesn't have to be the full length of Main Street, a few blocks, once a month.
